Consumer GPS tracking apps are not designed for schools. They don't understand routes with 30 stops, don't handle 40 buses simultaneously, don't link to student rosters, and don't send stop-specific parent notifications. Devryon's transport system is built ground-up for school fleets.
Every bus can be equipped with a Devryon-recommended GPS device or use an existing device via API. Routes are drawn on a map once and assigned to specific vehicles and drivers. Students are attached to specific stops. From there, everything flows automatically — parent notifications, boarding events, attendance updates and delay alerts.
Because Devryon is a full school ERP, transport events also link to the rest of the school. If a bus is delayed by an hour, the class teacher can be notified so late-comers aren't marked absent. If a student changes their stop mid-term, the fee automatically adjusts. Cross-module intelligence is what makes transport feel effortless.

Indian school transport is regulated by state motor vehicle rules, school bus safety guidelines and RTE-related transport norms. Devryon stores every vehicle document — RC, insurance, PUC, permit, driver license — with expiry alerts so nothing lapses on the wrong day.
Driver identity, medical fitness and background check status are captured against each driver record. Any incident on the route (a breakdown, an accident, a route deviation) is logged with time, location and photos. The transport in-charge always has a live picture of fleet compliance and safety.
